“Preparing Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs Today!”
The Music City Freedom Festival, Nashville’s Juneteenth Celebration, is proud to announce that we will be opening the Youth Entrepreneur Zone (YEZ). The Festival is all about celebrating our community’s businesses. What better way to celebrate than to provide an opportunity for our community’s Young Entrepreneurs to be a part of it.
The Music City Freedom Festival has partnered with a local, but nationally recognized, program called Youth About Business (YAB). Their mission is to expose youth to the business world through their experiential learning model, fostering the development of business literacy and leadership skills necessary to be more successful in school and in life. Over the years, YAB has observed that their students are successful in graduating from high school and attending college with many of them studying business-related majors.
YAB will be sponsoring 10 Young Entrepreneurs to put their business on display at The Music City Freedom Fest.
Requirements for the Youth Entrepreneur Zone:
Must be no older than 17 years old.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of your business and operations.
Must have social media and/or website displaying business.
Must be accompanied by adult, or legal guardian, at all times.
The Youth Entrepreneur Zone (YEZ), sponsored by Youth About Business (YAB), is a opportunity to celebrate our community’s young entrepreneurs by putting their businesses on display at the festival. YAB is sponsoring 10 young entrepreneurs this year by supplementing over 50% of the vendor registration fee.
